Old Mans Cave

On Tuesday August 14, 2007 I joined my parents at Old Mans Cave camp ground. I was a little leery at first because I have not been camping since I was a kid and all I could remember was sitting out in the hot sun and getting bit by bugs. I am still trying to figure out how I grew up in the country and managed to survive...I am definitely a city girl! So,to my surprise I had a blast. We took a walk on Conkles trail to look at the caves and then we headed back to the camp site to swim, cook dinner and sit around the bonfire. I had a really good time and I am now looking forward to camping Labor Day weekend.

On Saturday we spent the night at my parents house. The kids love sleepovers at Grandma & Grandpa Hansons house. My Mom usually gives the kids a sugar overload and then they stay up until midnight but not Saturday they were pooped.

Ross County Fair 8-11-2007

On Saturday 8-11-2007 we headed to the Ross County Fair in Chillicothe, Ohio. The kids were pumped about riding all the rides and the adults were excited about the Fair Food!

I love my car!

I can't believe I forgot to put a picture of my car. I love my car! However, I must say I feel a little silly driving it. Teenagers are constantly pulling up beside me and revving their engines trying to race me! The funny part is...my car may look like a fast and furious car but it's about as slow as a horse and buggy. I should have had this car when I was 19 years old cruising around instead of now when I am 27, married with kids but at least I am not driving a mini van ( no offense to anyone with a mini).

Ohio State Fair 8-4-2007

Shane and I went to the Ohio State Fair with my best friend Kelly and her husband Josh. Shane and Josh wanted to see George Jones and Merle Haggard in concert. Are you saying to yourself "Who the heck are George and Merle???" Kelly and I were completely clueless also! Despite not knowing who they were we still had fun at the concert and we pigged out on fair food and rode the sky lift.

Trip to Tennessee July 2007

My whole family...Mom, Dad, my brother Ryan and his girlfriend Brynn, Grandma & Grandpa, My Aunt Christa, Uncle Scott and my 2 cousins Sydnee (9) & Carlee (4) along with My Uncle Jeff from Georgia and his wife Carol and 2 kids Tyler (9) and Lauren (7).... We all went to Tennessee in July 2007 in honor of my Great Grandpa who passed away last October. We stayed in a cabin that slept 16 people and we spent 2 days hanging out at Dollywood. My Great Grandpa loved the mountains and my Dad said the last time Great Grandpa went to Dollywood he spent the whole day looking for Dolly.

Jazz and Zakk

These 2 kids are hilarious! Zakk is constantly telling jokes likes his Dad and Jazz is our little drama queen...she may only be my step daughter but she sure does act like me! Jazz and Zakk are also SUPER excited about losing their teeth and they sure are keeping the tooth fairy busy.

Imagination Cruise Ship 2007
